From what I've actually seen so far as a consequence of #AIArt on #deviantart is an onslaught of new profiles with soulless, plastic-y images (with crappy hands ofc) flooding my feed, often with the sign 'commissions open'. On top of that, most of the actual artists left this page.. People I've looked up to for inspiration, admiring their craft. So now, when I check out my DA, instead of art, traditional and digital, and people posting their art tutorials and progress, I keep seeing literal copy-pastes. Yeah nah. Imo, AI in image making should be like alcohol in food and beverages - you have to label it 'contains alcohol' ('AI generated') and mark the 'percentage' = which people's art you used. And pay for 'banderole' = tax stamp, i.e. pay the people whose images you use... especially, if you're one of those new deviants, stuffing your gallery with AI images, who's opened commissions .
